Physicists Unair Thorough Deadly Light for Acne

Physicists Universitas Airlangga (Airlangga University), Surabaya Dr Diah Astuti Syriac MSi fotodinamika researching the use of visible light to kill pathogenic bacteria on the skin that causes acne.

The light that I use in this study was obtained from the visible light lab, so no direct effect on the skin," she said on the sidelines of the National Seminar on Applied Physics III followed by 121 physicists from all over Indonesia at the local campus, on Sunday (16 / 9).

On the sidelines of the national and international physicists who opened the Directorate General of Higher Education Prof Dr Ir Kemdikbud Djoko Santoso MSi on Saturday (15/9), Airlangga University lecturer and researcher explained the research work carried out is still in the prototype stage and in vitro testing.

Hopefully, our research can be completed entirely according to plan in 2014," she said, accompanied by the chairman of the committee of the National Seminar on Applied Physics III Dr Mohammad Yasin MSi.

According to Yasin, physics does have knowledge of basic physics and applied physics, physical science that contribute to technological progress and improving the quality of human life can actually be more real.

For this reason, we come together to share knowledge and findings or research performance. Third meeting was attended by 121 speakers and dozens of invited guests," she said.

The speakers include a field of study Theoretical Physics and Computational Physics 16 people, Physics Study Materials and Biomaterials as many as 30 people, and Optical Physics Study of nine people.

Other fields, Assessment and Measurement Instrumentation Physics as many as 28 people, Study of Biophysics, Medical Physics, and Nuclear Physics as many as 13 people, and the Physics Education Research as many as 25 people.

The physicists who came from different cities and agencies, including Riau, Makassar, Bandung, Jakarta, Bulgaria, Mataram, BATAN, and LIPI, and Surabaya as the host.

He added that Indonesia actually has great people who are able to create useful inventions for the benefit of life.

The provision of adequate research funding to the application of research results is a way to honor the nation's best researchers so that they do not migrate out of the country.

At the same time, the Master of Science Airlangga University Surabaya Islamic Economic receive guests from Head Research International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Instiute of Islamic Ban and Finance, Asst. Prof Dr Muhammad Abduh S.Si MA M.Ec.

The development of Islamic economics (in Indonesia called Islamic economy) increasingly promising. Not only in Indonesia, all over the world, Islamic banking and finance has gained attention.
